Marquardt School District 15 Data (School Year 2025–2026)

The graphs below represent data from school year 2025–2026 for Marquardt School District 15. There are three different metrics shown: Average Attendance, Chronic Absenteeism, and On-Track Status. Each metric is explained in more detail below.

If you would like to learn more about Marquardt's enrollment or other student information, you can visit the Illinois Report Card here.

Attendance Overview

Average attendance measures the total present students divided by the total number of enrollment days for a specific time period. Students are either fully present, present for a half day, or fully absent on any given day based on the number of minutes they are within the school building. Average attendance includes both excused and unexcused absences.

It is important to note that average attendance is not a student-centric metric, instead looking at whole school/district trends. For a more student-focused metric, see Chronic Absenteeism below.

Chronic Absenteeism Overview

Chronic absenteeism is a more student-centric metric for attendance, measuring the percentage of students that fall into distinct attendance categories. It is independent of excused/unexcused absences and is based solely on how often the individual student is in the school building.

Students will receive a chronic absenteeism status of either Not Chronically Absent (average attendance greater than 95%), At Risk (greater than 90%), or Chronically Absent (less than 90%). Because this metric looks at individual students' attendance, we can see the underlying student distribution that makes up the average attendance.

On-Track Overview

On-Track is a research-validated metric that comes from the University of Chicago's Consortium on School Research. It is based on a student's core GPA (classes such as reading, writing, math, science, etc.) and their individual average attendance. On-track status leaving 8th grade is strongly linked to 4-year high school graduation rates.

Students can be classified into four statuses:

  • On-Track: GPA ≥ 3.0 and attendance ≥ 90%.
  • Attendance Support: GPA ≥ 3.0 but attendance < 90%.
  • Academic Support: GPA < 3.0 but attendance ≥ 90%.
  • Off Track: GPA < 3.0 and attendance < 90%.
